Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2 years of experience in CMM programming or related experience OR an Associate’s degree and minimum 4 years of CMM programming or related experience OR Vocational/technical education with a minimum of 6 years’ CMM programming or related experience
- Experience operating measurement devices, tools, systems and/or machines.
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Secret Clearance OR be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Responsibilities
- Support the CMM Programming technical team in ensuring product and process compliance by providing CMM Programming solutions per our quality systems and requirements
- Complete CMM Programming related requests
- Foster and maintain a cooperative relationship with Module Center departments including other Quality and Manufacturing personnel
- Drive product and process improvements
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement through use of CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) tools (Standard Work, DIVE {Define, Investigate, Verify, Ensure}, mistake proofing, etc.)
- Participate in the implementation of new inspection technologies that achieve process, reliability and productivity improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Quality, Manufacturing or Engineering environment with a minimum of 1 year in the Aerospace industry
- Product knowledge of aerospace parts
- Knowledge of CMM Programming software with a primary focus on Zeiss Calypso strongly preferred
- Understanding of Pratt & Whitney’s Quality Procedures, Quality Management Systems, AS9100 and experience using CORE tools
- Knowledge and experience in data analysis and problem solving using Six Sigma, Red X and process control Tools
