Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum seven years of experience working within the aerospace industry
- Experience working with CMC materials and/or EBC coating systems

Responsibilities
- Conceptual, or theoretical activities relating to the development, improvement, and usage of Ceramic Matrix Composite (CMC) materials, Environmental Barrier Coatings (EBC), and processes undertaken to repair jet engine components.
- Leads others to find creative solutions within complex CMC repair processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Employs sophisticated operational/product management, manufacturing or engineering techniques. Interaction with adjacent functions needed to solve issues. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Presents business or technical discipline solutions to leaders. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view.
- May own and manage key business metrics and other leading indicator metrics which includes communicating status to leadership, escalations to leadership, and owning escalation follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications
- CMC and EBC mechanical or materials design and or manufacturing experience
- Prior experience working in repair
- CMC shop / component manufacturing knowledge
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems (TOPS8D Process)
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
