Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph is required
  • Four years of experience as a Systems Administrator is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, such as Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics is highly desired and will be considered equivalent to 3 years of experience (With degree only one year of hands on experience is required)
  • Active certification in 8570 IAT Level I​ or higher is required prior to starting (preferably Security+)

Responsibilities

  • Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for complex cloud computing environments.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of seasoned engineers and follow mission-critical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Continuously learn and apply new technologies with mentorship from senior technical staff.
  • Contribute to automation and scripting tasks using languages like Bash, Perl, or Python.
  • Administer core Linux systems and services, including user/group management, LDAP, DHCP, DNS, and TFTP.
  • Utilize tools like Puppet and Salt for system configuration and infrastructure management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud System Administrator Certification or comparable Cloud System/Service Certification is desired
  • Ability to provide tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 support as well as able to provide support to include handling problem identification, diagnosis, resolution and escalation
  • Familiarity with AWS and Microsoft Cloud technologies
  • Experience with Cloud Monitoring tools (i.e. AWS CloudWatch, AWS Cloud Trail, etc.)
  • Shall have experience diagnosing and troubleshooting cloud computing systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on tasks
  • Experience accessing and troubleshooting systems via remote utilities to perform hardware diagnosis and repairs
  • Provide customer outreach for customers to include customer service through tickets, phone calls, or emails and providing on-call response
