Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Linux/UNIX and related applications
- Strong scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash, etc.)
- Experience in a 24/7 NOC environment for a cloud provider
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, DNS, DHCP, NAT)
- Experience with Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism Central, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Advanced Linux/Unix system administration skills
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and architecture, specifically SaaS environment
Responsibilities
- Ensure 24/7 availability of Nutanix Cloud
- Respond to alerts and tickets from support team
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Work with QA, Dev, and Infrastructure teams for monitoring solutions
- Deploy patches, upgrades, and administrative tools
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Maintain strong knowledge of Linux and related applications
- Utilize strong scripting skills
