Requirements
- Experience working with cloud native technologies and/or Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and/or Serverless
- Developed and/or scaled applications written in Java, Python or other programming languages with Cloud Native technologies on AWS and/or Azure
- Deployed written code in AWS and/or Azure for automation and/or DevOps purposes
- Experience in engineering solutions that use AWS or Azure native databases
Responsibilities
- Work with the full software development lifecycle, utilizing emerging technologies and solutioning in support of cloud design principles
- Develop cloud automation, interfaces, and architecture to support cloud Native Engineering initiatives
- Participate in solution and design discussions using a cloud-based architecture
- Create scripts and templates for automatic provisioning of resources
- Deploy and carry out processes for optimal use of cloud service provider offerings
- Collaborate within a project team to solve complex problems
- Experience working in a multi-cloud environment to foster an environment of teamwork, collaboration and creativity
- Stay up to date with the best practices within the cloud space
Preferred Qualifications
- Obtained relevant Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Cloud Practitioner
- Experience with Native or 3rd party DevOps solutions such as terraform or Ansible etc.
- Instrumental in leading teams/projects or workstreams where you were a major contributor in decision-making, coaching, mentoring, developing the teams skills and/or managing conflicts
- Experience and responsible for working in a multi-vendor environment building relationships with cross functional entities across the organization to avoid silos
