Responsibilities
- Assist in the origination of CLO transactions by maintaining relationships with CLO managers, debt investors, and equity investors.
- Lead the full execution through the lifecycle of CLO transactions following origination by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders including Sales and Trading, Credit, Legal, Counsel, and Rating Agencies.
- Negotiate and execute CLO warehouse financings with CLO arrangers, coordinating internal approval processes.
- Structure and model CLO transactions using Excel, Intex, and Rating Agency software.
- Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and execution of CLO documentation with external counsel, issuers, and investors.
- Coordinate with CLO syndicate in the marketing and pricing of CLO transactions.
- Partner closely with internal global teams across sales, banking, capital markets, and wealth management to help educate, develop, and advise clients on the CLO market.
- Help build external brand awareness of the Santander CLO franchise through participation in conferences and investor and issuer meetings.
