Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Health Sciences or medical field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 years relevant experience required
- Experience using the EPIC electronic health record required
- Knowledge of REDCap strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Independently perform data collection from the electronic health record and data entry into an electronic database
- Assist with student training
- Organize study records
- Document survey and data form completion
- Make telephone calls or send emails to study participants
- Visit clinical sites to distribute and collect study surveys, collect unit data, and address participant questions
- Attend study team meetings
- Perform duties of a responsible, sensitive, and confidential nature
- Able to work independently within established protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- Health care knowledge or experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and work ethic are desired
- Ability to work without intense supervision
- Reliable transportation to local hospitals for data collection
- Some weekend and evening hours required
