Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required
- 5+ years of clinical pharmacy work-related experience is required
- Experience as a pharmacy preceptor is required
- Active and unrestricted licensure, in good standing, as a pharmacist in state of residency or practice is required
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enhance clinical pharmacy services across relevant client sites
- Set clinical standards and protocols for specialty and clinical pharmacy practice, ensuring consistency and effectiveness
- Oversee patient support the professional growth of clinical staff, providing training and education for comprehensive patient care
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical care and outcomes
- Conduct clinical outcomes studies to generate data on specialty pharmacy programs’ effectiveness
- Collaborate with site leaders to monitor and report clinical metrics and outcomes
- Establish quality metrics and assessment tools for quarterly data reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency (PGY-1 or PGY2) is preferred
- 1+ year of experience as a clinical coordinator or supervisor in specialty or ambulatory focused program is preferred
- Specialty pharmacy services experience/knowledge is preferred
- Designing and conducting outcomes research initiatives is preferred
- Multi-state licensure preferred
- Advanced certification (e.g., CSP, BCPS or BCACP) is preferred
