Requirements
- PharmD or Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy
- Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current state within 90 days of hire
- Completion of a Post-Graduate Year 1 Residency (PGY1), fellowship or relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) within new hire period
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services
- Verify medication orders and/or dispenses medications accurately according to state and federal regulations
- Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner
- Actively contribute to medication safety initiatives
- Ensure all pharmacy operations are in compliance with national accreditation standards
- Directs staff appropriately to provide safe and efficient care and maintain professional working relationships with all caregivers
- Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers and/or patients
