Requirements
- Graduation from accredited school of nursing; BSN required or must obtain within 5 years of hire
- Valid Ohio RN license
- Current CPR certification required at the time of hire
- Must be able to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor
- Basic computer knowledge
- Strong organization skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Partner with and advocate for patients/families/significant others
- Provide physical, emotional and spiritual support
- Utilize the nursing process in conjunction with evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients
- Collaborate with and guide care delivered by the inter-professional team
- Accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics and applicable regulatory standards
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN Preferred; BSN Completion or Professional Certification may be required
- Preferred experience: RNs with min. 2 years of acute care hospital experience may elect to forgo the BSN requirement
