Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree is required. Nursing or related healthcare fields are preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in the hereditary cancer space.
  • Background in clinical diagnostics.
  • Market knowledge and experience selling to OB/GYN, MFM or Oncologist strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in establishing new markets and new products and increasing revenue quickly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; Gmail; SalesForce.com.

Responsibilities

  • Increase revenue and drive market development through direct sales to individual Genetic Counselors, Oncologists, and Surgical Oncology.
  • Sales efforts include effective prospecting, cultivating and maintaining key relationships.
  • Create and implement a strategic business plan to grow revenue quickly in your geography.
  • Sales efforts will focus on currently marketed products and new product launches.
  • Play a critical role in the success of the organization.
  • Utilize and access PHI via various technologies (paper and electronic) to perform the job duties.
  • Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, general Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.
  • Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements.

  • Strategic and forward thinking, effectively work in teams and is autonomous self-starters with experience in business analysis and have a command of Oncology and Healthcare business trends.
  • Have a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, mission driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and prioritize daily tasks while meeting critical deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
  • Ability to develop and utilize cross-functional relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals and objectives.
  • Comfortable engaging in proactive outreach and consultative dialogue that overcomes objections while connecting client needs with Natera solutions.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a very high level of confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of oncology, hematology, chemotherapeutics and targeted agents is a bonus.
