Requirements

• Medical Degree
• Diagnostic Radiology Residency
• Breast Imaging Fellowship
• American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certified or Board Eligible
• Florida Medical License or Eligible
• At least 1 year of dedicated subspecialty fellowship training in Breast Imaging

Responsibilities

• Active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Participation in the advancement and education of diagnostic radiology medical students, residents, and fellows
• Provide clinical imaging services, mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and intervention
• Participate in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, as well as clinical research, journal club, and weekly multidisciplinary conference
• Supervise the performance of technical personnel
• Be part of the on-call radiology schedule
• Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of breast imaging
• Provide breast imaging consultation as requested
• Staff off-site outpatient imaging sites as requested by the Division Director or Chair
• Assume administrative responsibilities related to the practice of breast imaging
• Participate in teaching activities related to breast imaging as required in Diagnostic Radiology and integrated Diagnostic Radiology/Interventional Radiology Residency programs, Breast Imaging Fellowship Program, Medical student education program, Radiologic technologist educational programs, Continuing Medical Education programs
• Potential participation in the development and management of new and ongoing clinical research
• Serve on Departmental and University committees as requested by the Chair

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a university faculty setting preferred but not required
