Requirements
- Doctorate in Audiology (AuD)
- Current Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology licensure to practice Audiology
- Certification of Clinical Competence Audiology (CCC-A) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) within new hire period
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), Supervised Professional Experience (SPE) Year or equivalent
- Broad knowledge of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology clinical skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical diagnostic and management services for hearing, balance, and tinnitus disorders/impairment using family-centered care.
- Provide services in designated clinical space, inpatient hospital space and/or operating room, as needed.
- Document and maintain accurate records for all services provided to patients.
- Complete administrative tasks such as inventory, placing POs, ordering devices and supplies.
- Ensure performance of daily and monthly equipment checks and biological calibrations.
- Participate in resident education as requested.
- Provide direct and indirect supervision of student interns and Au.D students, as requested.
