Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • A minimum three years of Benefits/HR experience required
  • Working knowledge of risk management techniques, including Employee Health and Benefits markets and marketing techniques
  • Deep understanding of various funding mechanisms and ability to share knowledge with a variety of stakeholders
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional client service and manage client accounts effectively
  • Resolve complex issues related to claims, billing, and eligibility while keeping benefits consultants informed
  • Lead the marketing process by gathering RFP documents and exploring negotiation opportunities
  • Drive carrier negotiations and oversee technology implementations to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Prepare presentations, develop meeting agendas, and coordinate plan documents to guide clients through the enrollment process
  • Collaborate with compliance resources to ensure adherence to regulations
  • Engage with decision-makers to drive client strategy

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience in insurance broker space desired
  • Life & Health License or ability to obtain within 90 days
