Responsibilities
- Talk directly with people who have recently experienced a loss
- Inspect the damage
- Investigate all documentation to ensure each detail is recorded accurately and fairly
- Thoroughly check claim case facts
- Determine coverage, liability and reserves
- Accurately report on each settlement
- Navigate settlements with individuals, attorneys, and other insurance carriers
- Prepare and maintain well-written files
- Keep teams up-to-date on current claims
Preferred Qualifications
- Some customer service work experience preferred
