- US Citizenship Required
- Bachelor’s: Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- 3-5 years hands on Datacenter experience (Cisco ACI and VMWare (deployed with VDS and NSX))
- Network specialty, Data Center Network infrastructure which may include: Nexus 7000/9000, NXOS, Cisco ACI, Fabric Path, Multi Site Orchestrator (MSO), Packet Brokers, and Firewalls
- Ability to implement and maintain protocols such as OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MP-BGP, GRE, NAT, VRF/Routing, vPC, FabricPath, OTV, BFD, PIM, FHRP, STP, LACP, EVPN, VMM, EPLD, SPAN and VXLAN
- Familiarity with ACI Policy Model
- Experience integrating ACI with Cisco Tetration and or Cisco Secure Workload in concert with VMware
- Troubleshoot IP underlay, IP overlay, Ethernet, and Multicast
- Knowledge in complex Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure
- Experience working within datacenter constructs deploying Cisco Dashboard Fabric Controller
- Experience working within datacenter constructs using Nexus Dashboards
Responsibilities
- Work alongside Network and System Engineers responsible providing datacenter services throughout USCENTCOM to achieve mission requirements
- Accurately analyze datacenter architectures, workflows, problems, situations, practices, or procedures to identify relevant concerns and factors
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with multiple work centers and clients within USCENTCOM
- Work with Network and System teams to resolve service affecting outages
- Assist in maintaining current datacenter fabric and help move the architecture forward as new technologies evolve
Preferred Qualifications
- Routing Protocol(s): EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
- LAN/WAN Design concepts
- Identity Management (Cisco ISE)
