Requirements
- 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to Banking’s leadership team, including the CAO and COO, and key partners across the organization, by being an objective, data-driven partner and advisor to senior leaders
- Develop and execute on strategic priorities requiring deep analyses of internal metrics and industry trends
- Oversee and execute on a portfolio of strategy and business management projects which lead to business outcomes that drive progress on key goals
- Execute on business management projects including managing routines and disciplines, vendor management, real estate planning, and coordinating with various cross-functional areas including COO, CAO, HR, Finance, Strategy, Legal, Compliance etc.
- Craft clear and compelling narratives by leveraging creative data visualization and story-telling to enable opportunity prioritization, recommendations, and broad consensus, which ultimately influences the strategic agenda
- Lead, coach and develop junior team members both formally and informally
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience at a global, highly matrixed financial services firm
- Experience working in or with front-line Banking teams and leadership
- Experience executing large research projects on complex topics with clear deliverables and recommendations
- Ability to structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of analytical tools to develop solutions
- Thought leader in topics that improve the overall franchise, including strategies to drive revenue, improve efficiency, create leverage and scale, and increase process and metrics that drive behavioral change
- Advanced level knowledge of the Investment Banking and Corporate Banking businesses
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills for executive presentations and reporting
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, communicate ideas and results effectively, and drive consensus throughout the organization
- Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and act with urgency when supporting leadership requests
- Ability to lead projects from inception to execution with minimal oversight
