Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience – Required.
- 15+ Years Knowledge and application of principles of bank IT platforms, solutions, technologies and application development processes. – Required.
- 10+ Years Experienced in monitoring and implementing KPIs and continuous process improvement methodologies. – Required.
- Strong knowledge of technology risks and controls and risk management practices.
- Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to think creatively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop alliances with internal and external groups.
- Strong knowledge in IT finance, procurement and performance mgmt.
- Skilled at system development life cycles, project management, technology infrastructure and related principles.
- Communication skills are imperative for this position, in both written and verbal form.
- Highly-motivated, goal-oriented and competitive with proven leadership qualities.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment, be welcoming to change, and demonstrate composure during times of uncertainty and stress.
Responsibilities
- Actively co-design the business strategy with front office colleagues, ensuring technology aligns with and propels business objectives.
- Serve as a key advisor and partner to the leadership team, bringing technological insights into business strategy discussions.
- Translate business strategies (Fixed Income, Equities, FX, Derivatives, Commodities, Energy) into robust and scalable technology architecture.
- Ensure that technology infrastructure and applications are aligned with current and future business needs.
- Design and build the Distribution capacity of Markets to distribute its products to SCIB franchise (FIs and Corporates) and to other segments of the Group such Retail & Commercial and Wealth Management.
- Implement the SCIB global platforms for all business (Markets, Banking, Leverage Transactional Banking), and support lines of SCIB.
- Lead Cybersecurity services.
- Provide local front office and support functions local support.
- Ensure systems are safe, high-performing, and efficient.
- Continuously seek opportunities to optimize costs and enhance system capabilities.
- Comply with the regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field. – Preferred.
- Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
