Requirements
- Must be a current PGY3 pediatric resident in good standing with an ACGME-accredited training program
- Must graduate in June of 2025 from an ACGME accredited residency training program and be prepared to start July 1, 2025
- Must be American Board of Pediatrics eligible in 2025
- Must be a US citizen
- Exceptions to these requirements may be made on a case by case basis
Responsibilities
- Mentoring pediatrics residents and medical students
- Coordinating educational activities for the pediatrics residents
- Organizing and tracking the educational curriculum
- Developing curricula and board review sessions
- Supervising pediatric residents in simulation and ambulatory care
- Participating in departmental administrative meetings including the program evaluation committee and other education/hospital-based committees
- Maintaining and further refining clinical skills as a part-time attending in the outpatient clinic
- Pursuing scholarship and/or research if desired
