Requirements

  • 4+ years of product or project management experience with a complex, multi-threaded set of initiatives and required difficult prioritization decisions.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing strategies that drive business growth and user engagement and required difficult juggling of tradeoffs.
  • Solid understanding of various project management tools, agile development methodologies and experience working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong customer empathy and experience conducting user research, customer interviews, and usability testing.
  • Experience working closely with UX/UI designers and understanding of design thinking principles.
  • Ability to conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform product positioning and strategy.
  • Expertise in product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics) and A/B testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with business and financial modeling in Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex product data and user behavior patterns.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle, APIs, and technical architecture to effectively communicate with engineering teams.
  • Experience with AI/ML-powered products and understanding of how AI models can enhance product capabilities.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Datorama, Google Data Studio) and ability to present complex product data clearly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product or project management, with preference for candidates with both product and business/financial experience.

Responsibilities

  • Gather information from the business and marketplace to enable executives to execute annual planning and QBRs, synthesize key findings and communicate those back to the organization.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to define and prioritize key initiatives, integrated product roadmaps to best align with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Work with product teams to ensure product backlog is prioritized, groomed. Evaluate and prioritize features based on customer needs, resource requirements, business impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Develop and track key metrics, KPIs, and user engagement data to drive product decisions and unlock growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and features.
  • Facilitate alignment between product management, engineering, design, data science, and business teams on key initiatives and deliverables.
  • Prepare and lead business and product review sessions with the executive team, including product management, operational teams, GTM teams to surface team/individual performance analysis, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure customer empathy and user experience considerations are integrated into all decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead user research, market analysis, and competitive intelligence to inform product strategy and feature development.
  • Oversee product launches, feature rollouts, and post-launch optimization initiatives. Build teams and evaluate them at every stage of the product lifecycle.
  • Work with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, feasibility tests and development timelines.
  • Lead the weekly exec meeting with agenda setting, time keeping. Facilitate QBRs and annual planning sessions. Provide ample visibility for all stakeholders and ensure the team is focused and prepared to execute on the highest priority items and doesn’t get distracted.
  • Aggregate quarter business reviews and synthesize board materials. Translate board meeting materials into investor updates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience at high-growth technology companies or startups.
  • Understanding of B2B technology, SaaS/DaaS, streaming media, advertising technology, or entertainment industry dynamics.
