Requirements
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in consulting, strategy, operations, or executive leadership roles—ideally within the federal contracting sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Policy, or related field required; Master’s degree (MBA, MPP, MHA) preferred.
- Strong understanding of DoD and/or federal health agency operations, procurement environments, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to influence at the all organizational levels and manage cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; adept at crafting executive narratives and presenting complex information clearly.
- Security clearance (ability to obtain and maintain) any required depending on program access needs.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor and proxy to the Business Unit General Manager, managing executive priorities, tracking key deliverables, and driving accountability across the organization.
- Lead the coordination and execution of strategic initiatives and operational improvement efforts across the Defense and Health portfolios.
- Serve as a liaison between the business unit leader, operating unit leader, functional heads, and program managers.
- Develop and manage governance processes for Business Unit operations and program milestone tracking.
- Support strategy and growth planning efforts, including pipeline oversight and executive-level proposal support.
- Manage special projects and confidential initiatives with speed, precision, and diplomacy.
