Requirements
- Experience in troubleshooting and repair of comfort cooling and heating, humidifiers, refrigeration, and associated control systems.
- Experience in various electrical, plumbing, mechanical, water, and compressed air systems.
- Experience in general building maintenance and repair.
- Universal CFC in Refrigerant Recovery required
- Strong troubleshooting skills of these systems.

- Ability to manage third party contractors, securing bids, oversee small projects, and follow up to ensure work is completed properly within budget constraints.

- Working knowledge of computer applications including spreadsheets, word processing and CMMS systems.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the client’s staff to ensure the buildings and their associated systems are operated and maintained in good repair.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and resources.
- Follow all safety protocols including Lock out Tag out, Job Safety Assessments, Shutdown Notifications, etc.
- Ensure compliance to Occupational Health and Safety policies, regulations, legislation and cultivate a workplace where health and safety is a priority for client, team members and contractors focusing on a “goal zero injuries” strategy.
- Assist in managing the operations audit process as directed by the respective Regional Engineer/National Engineer account managers.
- Ensure that compliance of all regulatory laws and guidelines are met as they relate to the operation of the building’s electrical systems. Responsible for alerting management of building discrepancies.
- Maintain all infrastructure and compliance documentation for the building including up-to-date building drawings and single lines as well as documentation mandated for the purpose of maintaining regulatory compliance with Federal, State or Local law.
- Perform preventive/predictive tasks when required. Oversee repair and preventative maintenance of HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, and Electrical systems.
- Assist with critical after-hour issues & participate as a key team member in response to emergency situations.
- Effectively use CMMS system to document and manage Preventive Maintenance and On Demand work.
