Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ yrs sales experience or channel/distribution experience
  • Ability to forecast business and meet or exceed assigned sales targets

Responsibilities

  • Ability to develop and implement sales initiatives to grow channel self-service revenue
  • Ability to deliver effective internal (to Proofpoint sellers) and external (to partners) enablement on channel self-service
  • Works with the distributor business development team to enable partners and drive Proofpoint partner growth via channel self-service
  • Works to improve operational efficiency between Proofpoint and distribution to support channel self-service; responsible for ensuring improvements happen to processes and systems to enhance performance of channel self-service
  • Coordinates resources from other Proofpoint business units to support the success of channel self-service
  • Lead process improvement projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep experience with partner and distribution ecosystem
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Works well cross-functionally with channel teams, sales team, channel marketing, operations, finance, order operations, business applications, etc.
  • Data driven, with experience using SFDC, Microsoft BI and MS Excel
  • Strong executive presence
