Requirements
- Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Master’s of Science in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- BCLS
- ACLS
Responsibilities
- Administers, monitors and manages patient care before, during and after anesthesia
- Performs pre-anesthesia assessment
- Induction and maintenance of and emergence from anesthesia with the supervision of an Attending Anesthesiologist
