Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent for CMA
- Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred for CMA
- Basic computer skills required for CMA
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for CMA and LPN
- Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program for LPN
- Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state for LPN
- One year of LPN experience preferred for LPN
Responsibilities
- Perform multi-skilled activities to support patient-centered care for CMA
- Assist with triaging and preparing patients for appointments for CMA
- Coordinate patient care and treatment plans through telephone calls and messages for CMA
- Room patients, take vitals and health history, document in electronic medical record, give injections, and assist with minor procedures for LPN
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of patient care experience preferred for CMA
- One year of LPN experience preferred for LPN
