Requirements
- Certified Anesthesia Technologist Certification, Cer.A.T.T., is required.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of hemodynamics as it pertains to invasive line placement.
- Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate capabilities as Anesthesia Technical Support.
- Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate procedures knowledge in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
- Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate medical terminology and documentation in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
- Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate the ability to maintain equipment, products, or systems in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
Responsibilities
- Operates the institutional Point of Care Testing monitors, the institution’s cell salvaging systems, as well as operate the Rapid Infusion Systems during trauma and liver transplant procedures, or procedures in which the massive transfusion protocol is initiated with minimal guidance.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of hemodynamics as it pertains to invasive line placement.
