Requirements
- 10+ years of comprehensive experience in the electrical industry, with a proven track record in energy consulting, EV charging infrastructure, or commercial/industrial lighting retrofits.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with all aspects of electrical project management, including design, installation, troubleshooting, code compliance, and quality control.
- Demonstrated success in client relationship management, securing new projects, bidding, contract negotiation, and a strong ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities in emerging energy technologies.
- Proven experience in leading and motivating a team of skilled electricians and technicians, fostering a productive work environment, and ensuring high service standards and safety compliance.
- Significant experience in small business management, including budgeting, financial analysis, P&L responsibility, and strategic planning to maximize profitability within an electrical services context.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, energy efficiency technologies, EV charging solutions, lighting design, relevant materials, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- A solid understanding of local and regional electrical codes, safety regulations (OSHA), licensing requirements, and permitting processes relevant to MD, DC, VA, and DE.
