Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-10 years of related work experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certified
- 30-hour OSHA certified
Responsibilities
- Manage capital projects as assigned in accordance with organization policies and standards
- Ensure project goals and timelines are met in an efficient and cost-effective manner
- Oversee vendor performance and serve as the primary liaison to partner entities
- Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet performance goals
- Maintain all project records and information, and inform relevant leadership and stakeholders of necessary updates in a clear and timely manner
- Manage any necessary administrative work including budgetary oversight
- Plan, develop, administer, and coordinate new or revised project goals and objectives
- Develop and schedule project work plans in accordance with specifications, objectives, and funding limitations
- Coordinate project activities through delegation of assignments to project team members and contractors
- Manage assembly and onboarding of project team, including University partners and contractors
- Manage project close-out and transition to normal operations
- Perform administrative duties as needed, including contract drafting and revision, project budget tracking and management
- Ensure all necessary legal and regulatory requirements of a project are met
- Ensure that all necessary move-outs and move-ins of occupants and associated materials are properly coordinated
- Manage, resolve, and escalate issues to REDCAM leadership
- Manage additional functions as required by a project
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with CAD and other capital projects graphic programs is preferred
- Experience in academic and/or health care capital project management strongly preferred
