Responsibilities
- Deliver compliance and safety awareness leveraging Ethics and Compliance resources.
- Drive compliance improvement by conducting assessments in their facility across designated compliance subject matter areas such as (i) Health & Safety/Fire Code; (ii) Environmental; (iii) Consumer Protection; (iv) Anti Money Laundering; (v) Food Safety/Pest Control; (vi) Privacy & Employment; (vii) Licenses & Permits; (viii) Anti-Corruption.
- Deliver on the spot compliance training at all levels within the facility including delivering the Compliance portion of new associate orientation.
- Analyze data to identify program execution gaps and/or trends, identify root cause and support the creation and execution of action plans that will mitigate the risk and drive compliance execution.
- Participate in regulatory visits (except Health & Wellness and Human Resource related matters) including the online submission and engaging the appropriate partners for resolution of orders or fines.
- Execute and manage the hourly associate accident file process including online submission, accident investigations, modified offer letters and follow up until resolution.
- Foster 2-way communication with Store Management that allows for attendance management, progress note completion and accountability to occur as required.
- Assist with collection and verification of required items/documents for customer claim folders.
- Submit and follow up to Facilities Maintenance requests including the management of pest activity.
- Leverage and utilize escalation tools to resolve issues and outstanding tickets.
- Conduct safety walks and inspections as an active safety team member.
- Follow up on action items identified through Safety Team meeting notes & Inspections.
