Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture, urban planning, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 12+ overall years of experience in campus development, project management, or real estate development, with a proven track record of overseeing complex construction projects.
  • 4+ years of leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction practices, and sustainable development techniques.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in project management software, budgeting tools, and other relevant technologies.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed to oversee global projects and collaborate with international partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive campus development strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives and development priority.
  • Identify criteria for campus development in each key site location, and assess their potential impact on business operations and development timing.
  • Lead all phases of campus development projects, from initial conceptualization through site selection, design, construction, and eventual occupancy.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other external partners to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster relationships with local authorities, regulatory agencies, community organizations, and other partners to ensure compliance and gain support for development initiatives.
  • Facilitate community engagement efforts to gather input and address concerns related to development activities.
  • Ensure all development projects align with local building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring that all developments are cost-effective and delivered within financial parameters.
  • Allocate resources effectively and optimize the use of personnel and materials across multiple projects.
  • Establish key performance indicators to measure project success and project impact on the organization’s objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership detailing project progress, challenges, and achievements.
