Responsibilities
- Oversee digital media execution for larger agencies, direct and companywide clients to ensure campaign deliver based on insertion order and to full revenue potential
- Manage and drive campaign optimization daily at all levels – across partners, placements, products and creative – constantly reviewing and adjusting performance of digital media focused on achieving key objectives and maximizing ROI for agency, company and clients
- Execute and oversee day-to-day yield management across all campaigns and supply sources, including performance monitoring, identifying and implementing enhancements, issue identification and escalation
- Produce engaging campaign analysis for clients, demonstrating the effectiveness of planning, media optimization and management that provide ROI, value and identify future opportunities
- Monitor and evaluate inventory for key areas of growth/change impacting overall digital revenue, site yield and margins
- Ensure marketing campaign tracking/reporting requirements are met
- Coordinate with corporate ad operations team to create/add new products, targeting, and additional ad serving capabilities in DSM/DFP
- Define advertiser needs, product features and functionality, pricing, reporting, and measurement/analysis to exceed advertiser’s expectations while maximizing our revenue potential
- Facilitate RFP, RFA and IO’s including planning, developing and negotiating with national rep firms, networks and clients directly across multiple Hearst newspapers
- Follow up and follow through to maximize revenue opportunities in conjunction with RFP and RFA requests
- Identify key areas for potential revenue growth based on sell through rate and ecpm
- Provide guidance and expertise to other team members and peers across the company
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous media planning experience required
- Previous experience with DSM/DFP/DFA is a plus
