Requirements
- 2-year technical degree or other related certification of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent) is preferred, and typically 5 years or more of related experience
- Experience supporting transportation infrastructure, inclusive of rail & transit is highly desirable
- Proficiency with Microstation and Autocad Civil 3D software is essential
- Revit is a plus
Responsibilities
- Work with a team of engineers and other drafters to create drawing packages for transportation construction projects
- Design work for rail transit projects for BART and other local regional clients
- Use design software from the Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley Open Roads Designer or Microstation suites, depending on client requirements, as well as Revit
- Check your work to adherence to client CAD standards and engineers’ markups
