Requirements
- Technology degree preferred or equivalent experience related to drafting & design.
- GD&T (geometric dimensioning & tolerancing) experience.
- Extensive experience in CAD design and 3D solid modeling in a fast paced, high quality, manufacturing environment.
- Advanced computer skills, including at minimum: Autodesk Inventor 2012 or newer, Autodesk AutoCAD 2012 or newer, Creo, MS Office.
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and create complex documents, specifications, blueprints, and architectural drawings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and filter key information.
- Strong planning and organization skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver revenue project engineering documentation to the highest standards and in line with TGP processes.
- Manage and execute your engineered-to-order backlog to drive throughput of orders in a quality manner.
- Provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
- Aid in the creation, development, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures for the Engineering department including but not limited to; engineering best practices, standardizing workflow, project and product specific methodologies, documentation and revision control.
- Focus on ETO degree of difficulty’s 0,1, and 2.
- Site visits to evaluate installation or products in the field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Soft Tech V6 Configurator or having experience with a design configurator experience is a bonus.
