Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in business analysis, requirements definition and information technology support
  • SQL programming languages
  • Principles and practices of business analysis and business process improvement
  • Client-server technology and applications, basic database structure, technical systems analysis, and design
  • Software testing and quality assurance practices
  • Proficiency with the following tools and technologies: C#, .NET, VB .NET, Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server (user functions, stored procedures, database jobs, views), SQL Server Reporting Services, JavaScript, HTML 5, XML, Exchange Web Services, Microsoft 365 products

Responsibilities

  • Interface with end users to document business processes, gather requirements, identify opportunities for enhancement, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Perform business analysis at a high level, creating project plan, documenting scope, and researching issues.
  • Develop, support, and maintain business applications, providing user support, training and user documentation.
  • Create and maintain test plans for application upgrades
  • Provide data analysis and reporting using various tools including SQL Server Reporting Services, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Research new software and application versions
  • Collaborate with Innovation and Technology department on enterprise projects, server upgrades, and security compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with the following tools and technologies a plus: Cityworks, Graph API, Tableau or Power BI
