Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in information technology, computer science, or related field, and two years of job-related experience. In lieu of the required education, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
- Successfully pass criminal history background check and finger printing.
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, evaluate, and execute County Attorney Office and user needs to create sustainable systems solutions that support overall Anoka County Attorney strategies.
- Provide technical assistance, learn/teach new processes, document activity, and evaluate user needs to create systems executable solutions that support department objectives.
- Collaborate with technology staff and subject matter experts to design, configure, and modify the case management system to benefit all users.
- Provide technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to support system project leaders, technical developers, and database administrators.
- Analyze each division’s needs and requirements for systems used throughout the Anoka County Attorney’s Office.
- Make recommendations on best practices, solve complex business process issues and interact with technical teams to define future system specifications for integrations, document requirements, process workflows, solutions materials, and obtain more lean business processes.
- Perform complex relational database analysis and design and create and train managers and others on the meaning and use of complex reports using various reporting tools.
- Act as a resource to staff and external partners by providing assistance with queries related to the case management system.
- Apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine system functional needs specifications and efficient implementation.
- Troubleshooting to resolve problems with the system and provide expertise regarding options available within case management for achieving business process needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience developing and supporting a case management system.
- Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field.
- Computer systems and application software experience, including using database tools and spreadsheets.
- Web-based case management applications, database structures and administration of case management applications.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
- Work effectively with the public, staff and other agencies.
- Work independently and collaboratively.
