Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, BI Development, or a hybrid DS/DE role at a high-growth or high-scale company
- Fluent in SQL and Python or another scripting language for automation
- Deep experience with BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or equivalent (e.g. designing scalable semantic layers and metric definitions)
- Understand financial and operational metrics deeply and have worked closely with FP&A or Strategic Finance teams
- Take initiative and ownership over the full lifecycle of data systems, tools, and agents
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating insight into impact
- Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and love solving foundational problems
Responsibilities
- Build and own the architecture for self-serve and automated insight delivery — from data pipelines to dashboards, alerts, and agents
- Design and deploy agentic solutions using OpenAI’s internal tools to automate financial workflows such as daily pacing updates and forecast variance explanations
- Create scalable and reusable dashboards to support forecasting, LTV analysis, pricing, investment decisions, and KPI reporting
- Develop data tools and intelligent agents that unlock self-serve access to core company metrics across business units
- Translate ambiguous business needs into technical solutions that are resilient, extensible, and intuitive
- Define and enforce data quality standards, governance best practices, and documentation
