Requirements

  • A bachelor’s, master’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, engineering, statistics, computer science, business with analytics focus, or related field.
  • Current permanent US. work authorization required.
  • 4 plus years of related full-time experience in an analyst role working on a business team, preferably in e-commerce or retail industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and prior experience with data modelling and performance tuning techniques are a must-have.
  • Experience with ETL techniques and business intelligence tools (Tableau, KNIME, Control M, SSIS, Alteryx etc.) used for data transformation.
  • Solid knowledge on using data visualization tools (preferably Tableau) working with multiple data sources and several dashboards.
  • Demonstrable success in interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques and presenting findings to business partners across the organization.
  • Experience applying statistical techniques such as hypothesis testing, correlation, classification, regression, and time series forecasting.
  • Experience using machine learning frameworks in R or Python to drive process improvement is a big plus.
  • Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence to manage source code and track project development.

Responsibilities

  • Set up data pipelines and ensure data integrity across the systems.
  • Analyze large data sets and investigate data anomalies.
  • Develop intuitive data visualizations and extract actionable insights.
  • Communicate results with partners and train and mentor Team Members.
  • Develop solutions for business problems and automate manual data processes.
  • Perform deep-dive investigations into data questions and weave findings into an effective story.
  • Develop operational metrics and build proven data products using BI tools and other software.
  • Work with partners to implement methods used in analysis to drive analytic insight around findings.
  • Lead quality control and testing initiatives for work produced by Analytics team.
  • Conceive, develop, and implement analytics solutions to complex business problems.
  • Work with cross-functional partners in defining and documenting requirements for building high quality and impactful data products.
  • Develop and deliver communication and training plans on data analytics capabilities, standards, and processes.
  • Lead the evaluation, implementation and deployment of emerging tools and technologies to improve productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using machine learning frameworks in R or Python to drive process improvement is a big plus.
