Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science)
- 3+ years of relevant experience; higher degree education and research tenure can be counted
- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, financial model-building and interpretive statistics
- Strong technical skills (Excel, SAS/SQL, Alteryx, Power BI, Python, Databricks)
- Strong interpersonal and communication / presentation abilities (written and verbal)
- Strong Powerpoint skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses on curated and/or aggregated DataMart’s to generate relevant analytical insights for business issues
- Identify opportunities to drive business growth and value
- Support Credit Cards and Deposit business with in-depth data-driven financial analysis and forecasting
- Derive meaningful insights from historical performance data to drive effective decision making
- Conduct product profitability analysis and various ad-hoc projects
- Develop analysis and proper visualization or presentation to illustrate business trends and identify areas of business opportunities
- Produce insights and recommend business actions to support business strategy and/or solve business problems
- Work in partnership with various functional areas to provide day-to-day support and delivery of analytics
- Execute on data requests accurately and within a timely manner
- Represent functional area as an analytics & insights professional and key resource
- Translate business requirements to analytics and reporting needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate Degree and 5+ years relevant experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience from an Information Management, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background
- Ability to effectively interpret information, select appropriate techniques, take independent action, and communicate findings & recommendations
