Requirements
- At least 5 years experience as a lead Project Manager (or equivalent role) in an IT environment.
- Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree program at an accredited college or university, which has included major course work in computer science, Business Administration or a closely related field.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- CAPM, PMP, PgMP Certifications a plus.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by the Office of Innovation & Technology and Human Resources.
Responsibilities
- Writing RFPs, evaluating responses, and defining contract requirements.
- Develop programs as needed to drive business improvement efforts.
- Manage budgets for projects and team needs.
- Provide professional development support project managers and business analysts.
- Report status updates to senior management.
- Resolve problems between project stakeholders, subject matter experts, and vendors.
- Review projects and other activities with respect to project approach, meeting business needs, schedule, cost, documentation, other quality and performance factors, etc.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved in a timely fashion and meet quality expectations.
- Other related duties as assigned.
