Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1–2 years of success in an outbound BDR/SDR role, preferably selling technology or analytics solutions
  • Proven ability to hit or exceed activity and meeting-setting quotas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft concise, compelling outreach
  • Strong research and organizational skills; comfortable using SalesNav, ZoomInfo, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms
  • Self-starter mentality with high energy, resilience, and a growth mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Execute targeted outbound campaigns (email, phone, social) to engage prospects in both Government (DoD, Civil) and Commercial segments
  • Qualify inbound leads and conduct discovery calls to assess fit, pain points, and buying timeline
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of MQLs and SQLs, ensuring consistent handoff to Account Executives
  • Research target accounts and key stakeholders to develop personalized outreach strategies
  • Leverage CRM (Salesforce) to log activities, track lead status, and manage follow-up cadences
  • Collaborate with Marketing on messaging, content, and campaign feedback to optimize lead generation
  • Participate in weekly pipeline reviews and contribute to forecast accuracy
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our new product features, differentiators, and competitive positioning
  • Support the Sales team at trade shows, webinars, and executive briefings as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated track record working with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Sales Engineers
  • Exposure to MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies
