Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in an inbound or outbound-focused Business Development Representative role, Sales Account Executive, or similar.
- Strong experience and comfort with cold-selling via email and telephone.
- Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated success in reaching monthly and quarterly targets.
- Proven track record in a fast-paced, engaging technology environment, with the ability to work flexibly across a range of responsibilities.
- Third level qualification in a related discipline.
- Strong work ethic and a ‘Can Do’ attitude along with a self-starter mentality.
- Ability to make decisions and exhibit sound judgment.
- Agility in switching between creative and analytical thinking.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of our buyer personas and the needs/pains of our target market.
- Conduct cold calls and cold emails to prospects across multiple departments.
- Generate and qualify opportunities using the BANT methodology to hand over to Sales Representatives.
- Write and adapt call and email scripts and outreach sequences.
- Utilize social selling techniques to attract and source leads.
- Update and maintain detailed notes in our CRM.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute new strategies to attract our target market.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, news, competitors, and our target market.
- Explore and utilize various prospecting tools and software.
- Engage in networking activities, face-to-face meetings, and other lead generation activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous prospecting experience, supporting the growth of a B2B SaaS organization at an enterprise level.
- Collaborative with the ability to build good working relationships with other teams.
