Requirements

  • 5+ years minimum of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or GTM roles, preferably at a high-growth tech company or InsurTech
  • BA Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex partnerships and manage stakeholders at all levels
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational instincts, attention to detail, and comfort working with contracts and cross-functional teams
  • A passion for building innovative partnerships that drive growth
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-autonomy, collaborative environment—across time zones and evolving priorities
  • Ability to work in our NYC office 3 days per week

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Lemonade’s partnership growth strategy across various channels, including pet services, real estate, fintech, retail, and HR tech
  • Lead cross-functional partnership initiatives by working closely with internal teams such as R&D, Product, Legal, Finance, and Marketing
  • Source, evaluate, and close high-value embedded distribution partnerships that expand access to Lemonade’s core products (Car, Pet, Renters, and Homeowners)
  • Own end-to-end business development cycle for your channels—from pitching and negotiation to onboarding and activation
  • Act as a thought partner to leadership, delivering actionable insights on trends, whitespace opportunities, and competitive activity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working across multiple verticals or with platform-based distribution models, a strong plus
