Responsibilities

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls: The BDC Specialist communicates with customers to schedule service appointments, follow up on service inquiries, and provide updates on vehicle repairs.
  • Customer engagement: The specialist ensures that every customer interaction reflects a professional and courteous company image. They aim to resolve inquiries promptly and efficiently, while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Appointment scheduling: The BDC Specialist works to maximize shop efficiency by filling open slots in the service schedule and confirming appointments.
  • Data management: They log all communications and transactions into the CRM system, generate reports, and monitor trends to identify potential areas for service improvement or training opportunities.
  • Service campaign management: They may support promotional campaigns, contacting customers about special offers or recalls, and ensuring timely customer follow-up.
  • Collaboration: The specialist often acts as a liaison between the customer and the service department, ensuring smooth communication between the customer, service advisors, and technicians.
  • Follow-up: A key duty involves following up with customers post-service to gather feedback, answer additional questions, and build loyalty.
