Requirements

  • Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4 years of experience as a Vice President, Manager, Business Insight Advisor, Senior Analyst, Analytics and Insights Analyst, or related position involving data analysis for strategy development at a global financial services institution
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 6 years of specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience
  • Full span of experience must include: Financial analysis and valuation; Statistical techniques including decision tree, regression analysis, statistical modelling; Investment optimization; Data-driven targeting solutions development; Data mining and analysis using SAS, SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau; and SAS and SQL programming.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct extensive statistical analyses to support marketing, strategy development, competitive analytics and investment decision-making
  • Analyze channel marketing tactics, segmentation and targeting, performance optimization processes, product profitability, and product acceptance drivers to develop reliable forecasting models and explain forecast variances
  • Develop and maintain financial models to predict cash flow, net present value, and P&L for marketed products
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Finance and Risk to drive cross-functional efforts to support underwriting, price optimization and overall expansion opportunities in order to improve bottom-line performance
  • Present strategic presentations to Senior Executives, Managing Directors and their executive committees and obtain sign-off for proposals
  • Utilize the data query tools including Essbase, Unix, SAS and SQL to test, evaluate and maintain robust data analysis and Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting for management to make timely and informed decisions.
