Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years Operations Property Casualty insurance experience with a carrier or MGA
- Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in rating, policy administration, claims processing, or underwriting
- Proven experience in scoping Insurance product or IT system implementations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and develop detailed business requirements that support digital platform development and implementation
- Support project management team to support analysis and review of product artifacts
- Design, execute and maintain detailed test plans and test cases based on defined business requirements
- Perform user acceptance testing, identify and report system defects and ensure all systems meet our business requirements
- Translate identified defects into actionable items and collaborate with subject matter experts, developers, product managers to resolve noted defects
- Provide status updates and reports on UAT progress, issues, and results to project managers
- Ability to perform gap analysis of current and future state to ensure requirements result in optimized solutions
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Specialty Program Groups strategic internal and external facing systems
- Work closely with UAT participants to define and understand all testing objectives and anticipated outcomes
- Build relationships with IT, Operation teams and other departments within the organization
