Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
Supported an insurance business in an analytical capacity
Led multiple analytics projects from requirements definition to final synthesis
Engaged all levels of stakeholders (frontline to senior exec) in presenting findings and problem-solving
Helped organizations translate ambiguous problem statements into concrete recommendations
Experience with using SQL to conduct data manipulation, including cleaning/transforming/creating data
Experience with using Python for various forms of analyses, including building models, running automated processes, data cleaning
Demonstrated the ability to deliver explainable models and analytics products that leverage an analytics tech stack (Snowflake/SQL, Python/R, Tableau/Looker, Excel, etc)

Deliver high-quality output and manage analytics projects independently
Collaborate with other leaders across the enterprise to enhance the ability to deliver insights consistently, quickly, and accurately
Establish processes to ensure the portfolio of analytics products remains consistent and clear
Support the insurance strategy through data and insights
Perform analyses to inform and support strategic decision-making, balancing growth and profitability
Collaborate to share insights and identify opportunities to drive material impact on the portfolio
Partner with various teams to improve products and processes
Use analytics to generate insights and drive executive conversations on business performance
Propose data-driven improvements to processes or business practices based on analysis
