Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of combined experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or solution delivery roles with a strong technical orientation required.
- Proficiency with SQL and data tools is required.
- Demonstrated experience working with REST APIs, data integration projects, and structured requirements documentation.
Responsibilities
- Partners with business and engineering stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and translate business needs into well-defined technical and integration requirements.
- Participates in Agile ceremonies as part of a SAFe Agile Release Train, including PI Planning, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
- Supports QA and DevOps teams by contributing to test plans, helping define validation criteria, and ensuring requirements traceability.
- Develops user stories, process flows, system diagrams, and documentation to guide developers and ensure long-term maintainability of delivered features.
- Conducts or supports user acceptance testing, including test case development and coordination with business users.
- Identifies process inefficiencies and proposes system or workflow improvements that drive operational efficiency and system reusability.
- Creates and maintains API specifications, payload definitions, endpoint documentation, and data mappings using tools such as Swagger, Postman, or Confluence.
- Writes and executes SQL queries to validate data mappings, support integration testing, and troubleshooting complex issues across systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum or SAFe Agile environments is preferred.
- Certifications such as CBAP, ITIL, CSM, CSPO, or relevant technical certifications (e.g., SQL, AWS, API) are preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance systems and concepts preferred, with willingness to grow into subject matter expertise.
- Prior experience with AWS cloud data architectures, data warehousing, BI tools and Insurance domain preferred.
