Responsibilities

  • Must be certified in all types of calculations and able to thoroughly process all calculation work items
  • Must be meeting/exceeding productivity targets, maintain certification, and consistently meet one of the following criteria for 10 of 12 months: Highest Certification for a Tier 1 client & High Certification for 1 Tier 2-3 client or 2 Tier 4-6 clients
  • Must reach and maintain certification within 48-60 months
  • Assigns work to self if necessary, to maintain high productivity and utilization (at or above the target)
  • Ensures on time resolution of items within service level agreements (SLA) to ensure key metric targets are met
  • Conduct research and analysis of issues, identify root cause, conduct impact analysis, and take steps to remediate current and future customer/client impact
  • Communicate in the course of researching and resolving client-facing issues to appropriate business partners
  • Acts as a domain expert of end to end processing of calculations, employee resolutions, and have a working knowledge of the disbursements process
  • Is accountable for logging bugs against DBCS and Actuarial Certified Workbooks
  • Provides support to internal Client Service Functional Teams (Calculation, Audit & Control, Client Managers)
  • Supports monthly testing of various systems upgrades and releases
  • Participates in special departmental projects
  • Provides back up support to DB Manager as needed
  • Develops and coordinates training for new hires
