Requirements
- College degree preferred or 1-2 years prior experience in a similar role
- Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Demonstrated leadership, self-motivated, proactive, hands-on style with excellent teambuilding skills
- Values punctuality and able to work overtime when required
- Well versed in composing all types of business correspondence
- Computer proficiency with basic applications (e.g., Word and Excel)
- Valid Washington state driver’s license and insurable under the Company policy
Responsibilities
- Prepare reports, memos, letters, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software
- Answer telephone calls and direct callers to appropriate parties or take messages
- Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports and paperwork for consideration and presentation
- Read and analyze incoming memos and reports for distribution
- Assist with facilities management for 425 Pike Street headquarters and other offices and branches in the Northern Washington Region
- Provide support to the front desk, serve as a concierge, and a 425 Pike Emergency Evacuation Resource and Safety Committee Representative
- Perform general office duties, such as receiving visitors, ordering supplies, and approving branch office supply orders
- File, maintain and retrieve corporate documents, records, policies, and reports
- Responsible for related budgets, schedules and minutes
- Assist with event ticketing
- Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email
- Schedule and coordinate conference calls, meetings, and travel
- Coordinate various Company activities
- Aid other administrative departments as appropriate
- Manage telephone traffic
- Collaborate with property management in managing the card-key access system
- Collaborate with property management in optimizing building security
- Manage the mailroom by receiving, sorting and administering incoming mail, overnight or ground deliveries as well as preparing outgoing mail
- Work with senior management, regional presidents, and division managers to provide top-level service to fulfill their business requirements
- Maintain positive contact with senior management, regional presidents, and division managers
- Adhere to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Administrative experience at the executive level is desired
- Experience providing support to multiple managers also preferred
