Requirements
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field with preferably at least 5 years of relevant experience or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Familiar working with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
- Experience with social media management platforms such as Hootsuite, Sprout, Sprinklr or Emplifi.
- Experience with website content management systems and reporting Tools.
- Strong skills in managing projects, developing editorial calendars and digital platform administration.
- Understanding of social media and website performance metrics and insights.
Responsibilities
- Develop content strategy based on objectives, current content trends, Daimler Truck brand, target audiences and relevant channels.
- Develop and publish inspiring, informative and interactive content and stories that are relevant for internal and external channels and audiences.
- Assist with the brand management of Daimler Truck/Daimler Truck North America to drive consistency globally and in North America across all aspects of the company.
- Interact with other Daimler Truck brands as well as partners, dealers, customers, and employees across social media platforms.
- Proactively deliver content audits across social and digital platforms to ensure brand positioning and consistency.
- Work closely with colleagues within Daimler Truck North America and across the globe, including internal teams like Product and Brand Marketing, Engineering and Legal.
- Work with partners for announcements and collaborations, and lead efforts to ensure alignment with company goals and strategies.
- Drive integrated communications by thinking outside the box with regards to external communications, social media and digital platforms.
- Assist with administration, optimization and development of internal and external communication platforms.
- Measure key performance indicators (KPIs) such as social media engagement rates, reach, impressions, website traffic, bounce rates and conversion to evaluate the success of content strategies and channel/platform performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with graphic design, photo editing and publishing in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.
- React quickly to a dynamic internal and external environment by adjusting our content and digital strategies.
- Take initiative to drive impactful content and digital experiences and support making a difference in how Daimler Truck North America is perceived globally.
- Industry knowledge in the automotive and/or trucking sectors is a plus.
